7. Enroll devices (for end users)

Once the profile and devices have been verified, provide the following instructions to your end users:

  1. Turn on your device and go through the device setup procedures. If the device has already been in use, factory reset the device.
  2. If you haven’t done so already, connect to a Wi-Fi network. The Customization Configurator will run and prompt you to begin the device enrollment process.
  3. Tap Continue. Read the EULA and tap Agree to enroll the device.
  4. The following Customization processes will occur:
    • The device downloads the Customization Configurator profile
    • If apps are in the profile, the device downloads and installs apps.
    • The Customization Configurator activates a Knox license.
    • The device downloads other required content.
  5. When the device has been successfully enrolled, you will see a confirmation screen. If the device has been configured as a Professional Kiosk Mode device, you will need to reboot it.

Once you've enrolled your device, if the device supports Knox 2.6 or above, you can:

  • Contact your enterprise — Go to Settings > About device > Software info > Knox Customization.
  • Get the latest profile — Go to Settings > About device > Software info > Knox Customization > Get latest profile.
